Our Ghost Books Story

In 1989, Antonio R. Garcez and Hank Estrada, embarked on a mission to bring real, first-hand ghost stories from across the United States to readers with an interest in the supernatural. Together, they founded an independent publishing company, Red Rabbit Press (aka GhostBooks.Biz).
For more than 30 years, Antonio and Hank traveled throughout the country, in an effort to investigate and connect with spirits via interviews, photography and in alleged haunted locations.
Antonio’s final book-Unforgettable Ghost Story Interviews-was published post-mortem by Hank. This culminating book of the series is an exceptional collection of the best of and never-before-published interviews by Antonio.

Antonio R. Garcez (1954-2023) is best known for his Ghost Books series.  His dedication to sharing compelling accounts of real, first-hand ghost encounters stemmed from a deep reverence for the supernatural instilled early on by his indigenous grandparents and parents, each respected healers.  Antonio’s sensitivity to spirits and the paranormal was observed and nurtured to honor and respect the unseen, shaping his unique approach to storytelling.
Antonio’s work gained national attention and has been featured on programs like America’s Scariest Places and Haunted on the History Channel.  Over the course of 30 years, Antonio and Hank investigated countless paranormal encounters throughout the American Southwest via interviews, photography, and spending time in haunted spaces in an effort to connect with and understand the spirits that linger there.
